About This

  • Genuine OEM Rain Bird parts. Upgrade your existing ESPME to an ESPME3 With WiFi. This kit come with everything needed to convert your ESPME including the new larger ribbon cable and the backplane assembly that it plugs into.
  • The panel alone will not plug into your existing ribbon cable due to the different pin configuration which is why the new ribbon cable and backplane assembly is required.
  • Replacing the backplane assembly is a matter of removing only 4 screws, swapping out the old with the new and replacing 4 screws.
  • The station wiring doesn't even have to be removed from the modules. Simply unlock the modules and slide them downwards. Installing this kit saves a lot of work compared to removing the entire controller, elctrical, and station wiring.
